Catrice New: The BLA Products

Hey everyone! Catrice has a bunch of new products coming soon as part of the standard range. I've already written a post featuring the new products that I'm excited about. This post is about all the new products that I'm not loving for some reason - the BLA products - basically I think they're a miss. This isn't based on the quality of the products, I just don't like the design or the concept or they're meant for younger girls, etc. Let me know if you disagree.

I'm not a girl who likes lip gloss, so that's why all these are on my BLA-list. I like the design of the Infinite Shine Lip Gloss, but still, not for me. These might be great for someone who loves lipgloss, they have a huge selection of colors.

Lipsticks: 330 The Lips Are On Fire (I don't wear orange lipstick, so...), 300 Kiss Me If You Can (it looks like it has shimmer/glitter in it, which is not for me; of course, these are just the promo pictures, I'll have to see it in person, but so far I'm not loving it). As far as the Ultimate Shine collection goes, I'm a Matt-girl, so I've been avoiding these lipsticks, and will continue to do so.

I already have a ton of lip pencils, and since I'm trying to use the make-up I already have, I won't be getting these.

And while I really can say Catrice eyeshadows are great quality, these colours are not my cup of tea:

 770 Smoothie Operator, 720 Papaya Don't Preach, 750 New In Brown

 760 No. 1 Candydate, 740 Nice Ice Baby, 730 Too Good To Be Blue

 Absolute Eye Colour Quattro in 110 Pool Position  - meh. I don't like green eyeshadows. Sorry!

Absolute Bright Eyeshadow Palette 010 Candy Warhol- it's safe to say I'm an eyeshadow palettes nut - and I love Catrice eyeshadow palettes, but this one just doesn't strike me. I don't like the individual shades, I don't like the overall look. I will miss this one. It just doesn't make my heart beat faster. :(

Eye pencils, eyeliner-pencils and mascaras are just not a thing I get excited over. I know many of you are different, but that's how I feel.

Out of all the lashes that will be in the upcoming Lash Flash Limited Edition, THESE are the ones they're putting to standard range?????!! No! What a disappointment. I'm in love with all the other lashes, but these I don't like. The individual lashes are just too much work for me, and the thick ones seem like just too much - not even Kardashian-like, just full-on drag-queen look. And the kind of lashes I like are just something to open up your eyes, but that are not in-your-face-overdone. You know what I mean? Anyways, I'll skip. Not my cup of tea.

These nail polishes don't wow me - some of the shades I have from other brands or from limited editions (almost identical), and some of these I know I would not be wearing.

I don't like the Multi Colour Blush because it's too orange for me. As far as the Defining blush goes (shade 080 Sunrose Avenue), these promo pictures have to be some of the worst I've ever seen. The shade looks....dirty? I don't like it at all. Let's hope it looks better in store.

This Mattifying powder might be good, but I'll wait for a review. I have a mattifying Catrice powder from a limited edition that I haven't used up yet, so that's why I think I'll skip this product.

So what do you guys think? Are these products BLA? Or not?

CATRICE New: The WOW Products

Hey everyone! CATRICE has a few new products coming out soon (a part of the standard range), and instead of just posting them all in one post, I thought I might divide them into two categories: the WOW and the BLA. Check out the WOW products, the ones I'm really excited about, and let me know what you think of these. The BLA post coming soon as well.

Ultimate Colour Lipsticks: 340 Berry Bradshaw (very gorgeous darker shade), 310 Red My Lips (now this is what I call a red lipstick, and it looks very similar to the shade 'Roaring Red' from the 'Feathers and Pearls' limited edition), 320 Kiss Kiss Hibiscus (this shade might be very nice, looks fresh and tropical, I like the name). It remains to be seen if any of these are matte, and how the shades look in person, but so far I'm loving these new additions.

Crushed Crystals: 01 Royal REDding (great name, right?), 03 Shooting Star, 02 PLUMdogMillionaire - these are sand-effect polishes with awesome sparkle, I've seen swatches and they're breathtaking. If you adore sand-effect, these babies are just for you. I'm so happy about these, I love sand-effect.

Crushed Crystals: 05 Stardust (looks like essence's 'Here's My Number', right?), 06 Call Me Princess, 04 Oyster & Champagne. Again, these sand-effect nail polishes might just be the highlight of the new products.

Ultimate Nail Lacquer: 52 Where Is My Ferrari, 53 Inner Purple Of Trust, 48 Emerald Bay. Out of all the nail polishes coming out, these shades looked the best to me - a sparkly red, a gorgeous dark purple, and a subtle green.

Ultimate Nail Lacquer: 51 I´m So aNude, 54 My APPricot, 57 Karl Says Très Chic. Lately I've been falling back in love with nude polishes, and these seem so gorgeous. All three shades look elegant.

Prime And Fine Pore Refining And Anti-Shine Base; Prime And Fine Anti-Red Base - I'm really excited about the Anti-shine Base, I hope it works, fingers crossed!

Absolute Eye Colour Quattro: 100 F'rosen Yoghurt, 120 Pretty Little Lilacs. Catrice eyeshadows are amazing, and these little quattros seem to me like they might be the best choice.

Eyebrow Lifter 010 Lift Me Up, Scotty!, Eye Brow Stylist 040 Don't Let Me Brow'n. So the eyebrow lifter might be a fun product to try out, I always put highlight under my brow, and the design of the product is beautiful. A lot of girls use Catrice eyebrow pencils, and one more shade is great to add. This one looks like it might be my shade, so I'll be checking it out. 

Sun Glow Shimmering Bronzing Powder, 010 Shimmering Bronze. What to say? A girl needs some bronzer, I love the design.

So what do you think about these products? I'm excited about the lipsticks and the sand-effect polishes the most. Overall, Catrice is putting out 66 new products that will be a part of the standard range.

Preview: 'Crème Fresh' by CATRICE

WHAT A GORGEOUS BLUSH! This Limited Edition collection by CATRICE is called “Crème Fresh'', and will be available from February. The blush is just breathtaking, but the rest of the collection is pretty BLA to me. Thank God for that, I will not be broke HAHA. The rest of the collection features eyeshadows (I dont like the packaging, don't really need them, so I'll skip), lip balms, nail polishes (with shimmer effect, so I'll skip), and hair, lash and brow colour (interesting, the pink color looks fun). Preview: CATRICE “Une, deux, trois”

Hey everyone! So this limited edition collection by Catrice will be available in February, just in time for Valentine's day. It's divided in 5 color themes, and in each shade you get lipstick, blush and nail polish that match. It's pretty awesome. Here come the pictures:

Here is what I like the best:

Blushes: Cherry and Pinky are for me, but since I have a lot of pink blushes, I think I will not be getting Pinky.

Lipsticks: These are supposed to have a matt-finish, so that makes me really happy. Cherry and Rosy look the best for me, but Rosy is my absolute favorite.

Nail polishes: I think I won't be getting any. They're gorgeous, but I have so many nail polishes, and I'm trying to use polishes from my collection, instead of just buying new ones. The Rosy and Nudy look the best to me.

The kabuki brush I will not be getting, instead I have my eye on the LOOK by BIPA Kabuki brush - the design is so much prettier.

Catrice and Essence are coming out with a ton of new products, not just limited editions, but new standard range products, so I'll be writing about those later this week.
